A look at the species at risk

Seaducks.org is dedicated to the survival of the ducks of the tribe Mergini. The population of thirteen of seventeen species of sea ducks are reported to be declining.

The purpose of this site is to provide access to available information and to promote awareness and elevate the status and knowledge of The Mergini Tribe commonly known as seaducks. It is a work in progress so check back frequently for updates.

The information is organized by species, subject and author with search capability so inquiries may be facilitated easily.

An important paper on sea ducks is now available from the Canadian Wildlife Service HERE.
